Write a short note on the decadal growth of Population in India.

During the last one decade, the tendency of population growth has been very positive, showing signs of slow growth. India is a country with a lot of variations in population, and therefore it is very difficult to introduce a uniform policy for population. One can identify four phases of population growth in the Indian population.
